It is with great sadness, that we announce the passing of our friend and colleague Mr. Eon C. Bailey, Social Counselor and Drug Rehabilitation Specialist of the CODA department. Our prayers are with his family at this difficult time.
Marie began her career at the FTCC in 1968 at what was then known as “Trade School”. Her career spanned almost 50 years of service to the community that she had called home her entire life. It is here in Inwood that Marie was born, raised, and dedicated her life to serving via the Before and After School program for our elementary schools. During her long tenure at FTCC, Marie touched the lives of many families. She made a tremendous impact on the fabric of our community. Marie worked with multiple generations of people within families. She became an iconic figure within our community, begin recognized by grandparents, parents and children that she had worked with over the years. She will forever be a part of our family at the Five Towns Community Center, and her legacy of supporting families with quality care for their children will continue in her memory.
We also want to acknowledge the passing of McKenzie Ann Livingston, former Executive Board President at the Five Towns Community Center and daughter- in-Law to Marie Caronia. McKenzie was born on July 9,1978 and sadly passed March 18,2020. She obtained her degree in Law, married her High School sweetheart Thomas Martillotti . They had no children but their cat Enzo was their baby. During her tenure as Board President, McKenzie worked diligently to support our programs/services and reinforce the ideals stated in our agency’s mission statement.
Thank you to Marie Caronia and McKenzie Livingston for their service not only to the Five Towns Community Center, but most importantly, the community they dedicated themselves to serving. Your memories will live on through our programs and the families that benefit from the program that you for so many years grew and nurtured.
It is with heavy hearts that the Five Towns Community Center (FTCC) family joins the Caronia family in mourning the loss of our beloved board member Marie Caronia. Marie Caronia was born on December 26, 1935 and passed on March 28, 2020. She is survived by her three children Susan M. Martillotti, Sharyn M. Dalone and Phillip A. Caronia and grandchildren: Thomas and Jill Martillotti, Anthony Caronia and Katrina Caronia. Marie lost her husband of many years in June of 2004.
I just wanted to say THANK YOU Eon for being such a good friend and colleague during my
time working as the Comptroller of FTCC. I’m sure we can all say when we were in your presence, we were with someone that was truly close to God in every way. Your dedication
to your clients, FTCC, your colleagues & your professionalism was always inspiring. Eon, your warmth, friendship and memories that I always have of you, I will carry for the rest of my life.
I shall smile and pray for you and your family always.
Thank You for coming into my life my dear friend. I know your smile and warmth
is now being shared with others and I look forward to meeting up with you again.
All the best,
Joe Randazzo
A beautiful and genuine soul passed on too soon. You will truly be missed by so many. We love you and my hearts hurts that you worked so hard to accomplish your Bed & Breakfast in your home town of Jamaica WI and did not live to Celebrate.
